What We Do

The Air Cadets offers many different activities to all those who join, and with such a wide range of activities available we are sure you will find something that appeals to you.

The Air Cadets is a Uniformed Youth Organisation. We are the cadet corps associated with the Royal Air Force. We were formed in 1941 and have been pioneers in the cadet forces since then. There are over 100 squadrons across the country with over 40,000 members and you could be one of them.

We meet two times a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We do various activities on a night covering all areas that the ATC involves. If you want to know more look through the sections on the left of this page. These sections give a summary of the activities we have to offer to all those who join, as your cadet life progresses you will have the opportunity to partake in most of the activities.

There are many opportunities in the Cadets and all should make the most out of what they can do. If you are ages 13-18 you are able to join, come along and have a look.
