RAF Benson Camp

Both Staff and cadets from the Squadron attended RAF Benson on annual camp this year.

A very full program of events started with a visit to Brooklands Museum, "The Birthplace of British Motorsport & Aviation". They are home to the Concorde as well as the Vickers-Armstrongs Research and Development Department ran by Barnes Wallis. They had old cars racing during the day.

We had the camp photo, sections visits to ATC, Regiment, dog handling, fire section (wet and dry), survival, armoury, simulators, hangers with the Merlins and Pumas in. We all got to shoot the No 8. We had a drill competition with a member of the Queens Colour Squadron marking it! It was a fantastic day of greens training with the ACLO team, complete with a night exercise and ice cream.

The week was finished off with Pizza and a Disco!
